2. What is ALC Objects? ALC Objects is ALC's curated collection of sculptural ceramic vases, selected from designer ateliers and brought to India for collectors who value considered, statement-making design objects.
3. Is ALC Objects the same as ALC Studio? ALC Objects is a sister line under the ALC Studio banner, focused on sculptural decor objects rather than lighting. Both share the same design sensibility and are available on the same website.
4. Are ALC Objects vases handmade? Each vase is handmade by the originating ceramic studio using traditional techniques; ALC curates and imports these designer pieces rather than manufacturing them in-house.
5. Where are ALC Objects vases sourced from? Our vases are sourced from specialist ceramic ateliers known for sculptural, texture-driven design. We personally select each piece for form, finish, and craftsmanship before bringing it into the ALC Objects collection.
6. Does ALC Studio have a physical showroom? Yes, we have a studio in Delhi that customers can visit; however, only a limited range of our full online collection is on display there.

2. Ordering & Payment
9. How do I place an order on ALC Studio? Simply add your chosen product to cart and check out on our website. You'll receive an order confirmation via email once payment is complete.
10. What payment methods does ALC Studio accept? We accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and popular digital wallets. We do not offer Cash on Delivery.
11. Is Cash on Delivery available? No, we do not offer Cash on Delivery. All orders must be prepaid online at checkout.
12. Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it? Please write to us at info@alc.studio as soon as possible after placing your order. We can accommodate changes only before the order is dispatched.
13. Do you offer EMI or Pay Later options? We currently do not offer EMI or Buy Now, Pay Later options at checkout.
14. Will I get an invoice/GST bill for my order? Yes, a GST-compliant invoice is generated automatically and shared via email with every order.
15. Do prices include taxes? Yes, all listed prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.
3. Shipping & Delivery
16. Do you ship internationally? No, we currently do not ship internationally, but we're working on bringing this service to our customers soon.
17. Do I have to pay for shipping? We offer free shipping across India for all prepaid orders above Rs. 5,000.
18. How long will it take for my order to reach me? Orders are shipped within 3 working days of purchase, and typically take another 2–10 working days to arrive depending on your location. You'll receive tracking details by email once your order ships.
19. Will all items in my order be shipped in the same package? Not necessarily — a single order may be shipped as multiple packages to ensure each product arrives safely.
20. Do you deliver to remote areas or smaller towns? Yes, we deliver pan-India, including tier 2 and tier 3 cities, though delivery timelines may be slightly longer for remote pin codes.
21. Why do some products show a longer delivery time? Certain products have a longer shipping time than our standard timeline — this is usually mentioned on the product page and applies to items that are currently out of stock or made to order/customized. Please check the specific product page for the expected delivery window before ordering.
22. How are fragile items like chandeliers and ceramic vases packaged? All fragile products are packed with reinforced, shock-resistant materials designed specifically for delicate lighting and ceramic pieces to minimize transit damage.
23. Can I track my order? Yes, once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with courier details and a tracking link.
24. Do you offer white-glove or in-home installation delivery for large chandeliers? Yes, we provide installation facility across India at an additional charge.
25. What happens if I'm not available to receive my delivery? The courier partner will typically make 2–3 delivery attempts. Please ensure someone is available, or contact the courier directly to reschedule using the tracking link provided.
4. Returns, Replacement & Refunds
26. Can I return a product if I don't like it? We have a strict No Returns policy. Return or exchange is only possible if the delivered product arrives damaged or is incorrect.
27. What if I receive a damaged or incorrect product? Please raise a Replacement or Exchange request within 24 hours of delivery by emailing info@alc.studio with your Order ID. If replacement isn't possible, we'll offer a full refund. The original packaging must be intact for any request to be processed.
28. What about the refundable amount? The refund is credited automatically to your original payment method / bank account.
29. How long will it take to process my return? Refunds or replacements typically take 20–25 working days to process once approved.
30. Can I exchange a vase or light fixture for a different design? Exchanges are only processed in cases of damage or an incorrect item received, not for a change of preference, in line with our No Returns policy.
31. What if my chandelier arrives with a missing part? Contact us within 24 hours at info@alc.studio with photos and your Order ID — we'll arrange the missing part or a replacement as applicable.
32. Is there a warranty on ALC Studio lighting products? Yes, all ALC Studio lighting products come with a 1-year warranty covering technical/manufacturing issues. In the rare case of breakage, spare parts can be arranged, chargeable separately.
33. Is there a warranty on ALC Objects vases? As ceramic decorative objects, ALC Objects pieces are covered under our damaged/incorrect item policy on delivery, but are not subject to a running product warranty given their handcrafted, natural material nature.
5. Product — Lighting (ALC Studio)
34. What materials are ALC Studio lights made from? Our fixtures are crafted from a range of materials including MS (mild steel), SS (stainless steel), glass, fabric, and ceramic, depending on the design.
35. Do ALC Studio lights come with bulbs included? Yes, all our lights are shipped with complimentary bulbs included.
36. What is the standard wattage/bulb type used in ALC fixtures? Bulb type varies by fixture and includes G9, E14, E27, and G4, depending on the specific design.
37. Are ALC lights dimmable? Dimmable bulbs can be provided on request for an additional charge.
38. How do I choose the right chandelier size for my dining table? As a general rule, choose a chandelier roughly 12 inches narrower than your table width on each side, and hang it 30–36 inches above the tabletop for standard ceiling heights.
39. What size pendant light should I choose for my kitchen island? For kitchen islands, pendant lights are typically hung 30–36 inches above the counter, spaced evenly if using multiples, and sized to roughly one-third the width of the island.
40. Can ALC lights be installed on false ceilings? Yes, our fixtures can be installed on false ceilings.
41. Do you provide installation services? Yes, we provide installation across India for an additional charge.
42. Do ALC lights come with an installation manual? Most of our fixtures come with an instruction or design manual page to guide installation.
43. Are ALC Studio lights suitable for outdoor use? Not all our lights are suitable for outdoor use. Where a fixture is outdoor-suitable, this is mentioned in the product description.
44. Can I customize the size, finish, or chain length of a chandelier? Yes, we offer customization on most of our products based on size, material, or colour.
45. How do I clean and maintain my chandelier or pendant light? Dust regularly with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, and always switch off and let fixtures cool before cleaning.
46. What voltage are ALC Studio lights compatible with? Our fixtures are designed for standard Indian household voltage (220–240V).
47. Do your lights come with a plug or need hardwiring? Floor lamps and table lamps are plug-in, while the rest of our fixtures (chandeliers, pendants, wall and ceiling lights) are hardwired and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

48. What are ALC Objects vases made of? Our vases are crafted from high-quality ceramic, using techniques like hand-carving, textured glazing, and sculptural molding to create their signature forms.
49. Are the vases food-safe or waterproof, can I use them with real flowers? Yes, our vases can be used with real flowers and water.
50. How fragile are ceramic sculptural vases? Like all fine ceramics, these are delicate decorative pieces — best displayed away from high-traffic areas and handled with care during cleaning or repositioning.
51. Why do prices vary between vases in the same collection? Pricing reflects differences in size, complexity of form, hand-finishing time, and material used for each individual piece.
52. Are the vase dimensions listed for each product exact? Yes, dimensions are listed on each product page; as these are handmade pieces, very minor natural variation (a few millimeters) may occur between individual units.
53. Will the vase I receive look exactly like the photo? Because each piece is handcrafted, slight natural variations in texture, glaze, or tone are normal and are part of the character of a handmade ceramic object — not a defect.
54. How do I clean and care for a sculptural ceramic vase? Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid submerging textured or unglazed ceramic in water, and keep away from direct sustained sunlight to preserve the finish.
55. Are ALC Objects vases available in limited quantities? Yes — many pieces are brought into India in limited batches, so availability on a given design may be limited once a batch sells out.

59. Can I see the vase in person before buying, given the price point? While our full range isn't available to view in person, you can request additional images of a specific vase before purchasing.

62. Do you provide a certificate of authenticity or origin with each piece? There isn't a specific certificate of authenticity which we provide.
